Penn-Trafford High School’s student-run news program, PTTV, has been recognized once again by the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) Mid-Atlantic Chapter. The program earned top honors in two categories at the 2025 Student Production Awards: Best Newscast and Light News.
This marks the sixth time in the last eight years that PTTV has received the Best Newscast award, highlighting the program’s consistent excellence in student journalism and broadcasting.
In addition, students Julianne Fontano, Ella Malloy, and Bryn Urban were honored in the Light News category for their news package focusing on WTAE and the broadcasting industry. Their feature provided an inside look at the local station.
The NATAS Mid-Atlantic Student Production Awards recognize outstanding achievement in student-produced content across the region.
