Postcard Project Inspires Students

Mrs. Coleman’s 4th-grade students at McCullough Elementary have completed an exciting and educational journey across the United States—without ever leaving their classroom. Through a nationwide postcard project, the students collected at least one postcard from each of the 50 states.

This hands-on learning experience enhanced the students' understanding of U.S. geography, cultures, and regional characteristics. As postcards arrived from across the country, the students eagerly studied the images, landmarks, and messages shared by senders.

The project strengthened map skills, encouraged curiosity, and promoted communication with family and friends across the country.
