On Friday, March 7, the Penn-Trafford Academic Quiz Team competed against 16 teams from Westmoreland County. Led by Adithri Pingali, the team placed first in the preliminary rounds and advanced to the final round where it defeated Hempfield and Franklin Regional. The team will now advance to the state competition in Harrisburg on May 2.
