Students Receive American Legion Awards

Four eighth-graders from the Penn-Trafford School District were presented the American Legion Award at the culmination of their middle school careers.  Commander Jim Drnjevich and Mr. Jim Fike from Trafford American Legion Post #331 presented the awards to students who exemplify the following qualities defining character: courage, honor, leadership, patriotism, scholarship, and service.


At Penn Middle School, the award was presented to Tanner DeStefano and Kylee Kennelly  (with Honorable Mentions to Braden Dynys and Angelina Cardamone).


At Trafford Middle School, the recipients were Lucy Bratton and Bryson Caslow.
