It was an exciting day at Level Green Elementary School when the first and second graders had a visit from Hope Remanes. Volunteers explained to the students all about care, safety, and interaction with horses. Students were able to explore the trailer and equipment including tack, hay, and grooming items.
The highlight of the trip was interacting with the horses. “The students had a great time exploring the ponys’ equipment and were thrilled to pet them when the presentation concluded,” said first-grade teacher Mrs. Shogan. “The experience was equally fun and educational for the students.”
