The Penn-Trafford High School Hockey Team took some time off the ice to give back to the community. The team held a food drive, collecting canned goods and gifts for families in need.
On December 15, team members gathered at Community United Methodist Church (Harrison City) to drop off some of the collected items, and then they personally delivered the rest of the food directly to the recipients’ homes.
"This community always supports the Penn-Trafford athletic teams and this is a great way to give back and help provide some joy during the holiday season,” commented Coach Chris Cerutti. “We have a great group of kids who work hard on and off the ice so we decided to take a night off from practice and team-build in a way to do good and show our appreciation for the support we get throughout the season."
