Students from Penn and Trafford Middle Schools competed in the Geography Bowl held at Yough Middle School on November 16.
Overall, the Penn-Trafford students performed well. Penn Middle students Josh Maust and Elle LeJeune tied for 3rd place from over 50 students. The Penn-Trafford team of Chloe Yun, Grady Swartz, Arya Pingali, Josh Maust and Benjamin Wei placed 2nd in the team event. They were followed closely by the team of Sydney Mularski, Elijah Kreidler, Noah Hopkinson, Jamison Kelley, Elle LeJeune and Matthew Phipps who took 3rd place.
