Students in Mrs. Ruffner’s seventh-grade math classes at Penn Middle School enjoyed a carnival-themed lesson to test their skills on unit rate and proportion.
Each time the students solved a math equation, they received a clue to help them identify the suspect of a murder-mystery challenge. The lesson combined fun and problem-solving to achieve a great day in the classroom.
