The first-grade classes of Mrs. Haywood and Mrs. Caruso at Harrison Park Elementary School enjoyed solving a mystery called ‘The Case of the Missing Snowman’s Nose’. The students used their math, reading, and grammar skills to solve a series of eight tasks. Each completed task gave them another clue to help solve the mystery. The clues helped them narrow down when, where, and by whom the snowman's nose was stolen. All the students received a certificate when the mystery was solved.
“It was fun to watch the students work so hard to figure out the mystery,” said Mrs. Haywood. “Their excitement grew as they got closer to solving the mystery.”
