In a fundraiser to benefit Make-A-Wish, the Sunrise Estates Elementary School staff held a ‘Cookies for Dough’ event which raised over $800.
187 cookie decorating kits were pre-sold, and on the evening of December 15, families drove through the Sunrise circle to be greeted by the Sunrise staff, Santa, and Mrs. Claus. They received their cookie orders as well as lots of holiday greetings.
In total, Sunrise donated $9,633 to Make-A-Wish through its various holiday fundraisers.
