On September 3rd, under the Friday night lights of Penn-Trafford’s Warrior Stadium, hundreds of students were recognized by the school district prior to the kickoff of the first home football game of the year.
During the pre-game activities, each of the area’s midget football players and cheerleaders was announced over the loudspeaker and then ran down the sideline to the applause of the many spectators. Next, each middle school and high school Fall athletic team was called to the field. Finally, the 2020-2021 Students of the Month gathered at mid-field to be announced in the moments before kickoff.
